Description
The Window Edit Ltd. is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented In-House Seamstress to join our growing team. This role is integral to our production process and involves both hands-on sewing work and inventory handling. The successful candidate will contribute to the creation, alteration, and finishing of high-quality custom window treatments while maintaining our elevated brand standards.
Responsibilities
• Handling inventory control of all shipped and received items, including inspection and sign-off
• Completing in-house sewing projects, including new drapery and alterations of existing drapery
• Creating new products to be incorporated into The Window Edit’s existing product offerings
• Fan folding all draperies
• Packaging finished products for delivery or installation
Skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Creative thinker with problem-solving abilities
• Willingness and ability to learn new techniques and processes
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Ability to work efficiently within time constraints
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Other Information
Salary: $18–$25 per hour (based on experience)
Location: Office based in Middle Sackville, NS
Note: A dedicated workspace will be leased in the near future specifically for this role.
