Description
We are seeking a Ceramic Technician to join our studio team. Working under the direction of the Ceramic Artist, the technician will use hand-building techniques to create a variety of functional and decorative stoneware vessels.



Responsibilities
include but are not limited to:
• Slab building, drying, sanding, and painting
• Loading and unloading kilns
• Mixing glaze and glazing pottery
• Packing and shipping finished work
• Assisting with general studio administration

Skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Must be able to commute to Broderick, SK
• Work environment is not suitable for those with certain medical sensitivities (e.g., dust, heat)
• Painting skills are an asset
• Experience in a production studio is an asset
• Strong customer relations and communication skills

Other Information
• Full-time, 40 hours per week
• Compensation commensurate with skills and experience
