About Wonder World: Welcome to Hammonds Plains’ first indoor playground, bookstore, and café! Designed for endless fun and excitement, our space offers a safe, stimulating environment for kids to explore, play, and make new friends. Every visit promises unforgettable experiences and joyful memories.
Job Description: Wonder World is seeking an enthusiastic and talented Art Class Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about art and teaching, with the ability to engage and inspire students of all ages. As an Art Class Instructor, you will design and deliver a variety of art classes that cater to different skill levels and interests.
Responsibilities
• Develop and implement lesson plans that encourage creativity and artistic expression.
• Teach a variety of art techniques and mediums, including drawing and painting.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Provide individual and group instruction and feedback.
• Organize and prepare materials for classes.
• Teach three, one-hour classes a week (12 classes a month minimum).
Skills
• Art Education, or a related field.
• Previous teaching experience, preferably in a classroom or workshop setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students.
• Passion for art and education.
• Flexible schedule, including availability on weekends and evenings.
Other Information
Benefits:
• Base pay: $60 per hour
• 15% Discount on in-store products.
• 20% Discount on playground Tickets & Passes (Friends and family included – Limit: five per month)
Requirements:
1. Police Background Check with Vulnerable Sector Check
2. Child Abuse Registry Letter
3. First Aid and CPR
