o Training is provided through the L'Arche Leadership Development Program
o Fluent in spoken and written English and able to effectively articulate thoughts and ideas in a team
o Clear police check including vulnerable sector screening
o Valid CPR & First Aid certification
House Assistant Posting
o At least 18 years of age
o Knowledgeable about L’Arche history, values and vision
o Ability to be flexible and manage the stress of multi-faceted responsibilities and management
o Ability to remain calm, focused and clear in times of crisis
o Ability to take direction and follow-through on commitments in timely fashion
o Open to learn and grow; able to give and receive feedback
o Ability to directly address tensions in relationships
