Halifax’s most progressive fitness studio is looking for a dynamic, self-motivated Studio Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate combines a sincere love of people and a commitment to detail with creative, results-driven marketing skills. We’re looking for someone to help the studio run smoothly, ensure our students are happy and help spread the word about our unique classes and wellness philosophy.

Responsibilities: Market the studio to increase class registrations, build partnerships and grow the business. Manage online promotion of the studio including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and website updates. Greet students and help them have the best experience possible while in the studio. Manage our busy studio of clients and instructors with many spreadsheets and systems to keep everything in check.

Coordinate special events - dance shows, workshops, parties. Manage staff and volunteers to ensure work is being completed at a professional level. Enforce company policy with staff and students Help in the cleanliness and order of the studio. Move equipment as needed for different classes. Help keep the studio safe by walk through inspections and ensuring the monthly, annual check lists are being done by the assigned staff. Inventory Product orders Driving the company vehicle for supplies, marketing, events, or other errands. Report to the director Christy Sanford daily

Administrative duties such as various written procedures and forms, processing payments and registrations, data entry, spreadsheets, payroll, certification and tab tracking. Take care of all the details that make the studio a fun, friendly and empowering place to be.

Qualifications: Enjoy an active lifestyle Be active in the community at inesS by taking classes and attending our community events. Post secondary education with a minimum of three years of customer service/marketing/sales/public relations experience Excellent written, verbal and organizational skills Be able to deal with people in a polite, friendly and outgoing manner. Strong computer skills – word processing, social media, spreadsheets, excel, wix, mind body
