The incumbent will develop and create the website for WINA and associated applications. Education requirements can vary, but the incumbent must have an associate's degree for example, Bachelor's degrees - bachelor's degree in multimedia or web design with an expanded and advanced skill set that can lead to better job prospects or career advancement after graduation.

Develops Web sites by planning and executing design; maintaining and upgrading service.
Job Description
The web designer/graphic designer will create the look, layout, and features of a website. The job involves understanding both graphic design and computer programming. Once a website is being created, the designer will help with maintenance and additions to the website. The incumbent will work with development teams or managers for keeping the site up-to-date and prioritizing needs, among other tasks.
The incumbent’s job duties cover all aspects of creating a website. Upon meeting with the board of director and volunteers and assessing their needs, he/she will help create and maintain the product. Their duties include, but aren't limited to, the following:
? Graphic Design for Web & Print:
? Social Media Posts, Online Campaign Banners, Advertisements, Logos, Business Cards, Packaging, Vinyls, Flyers, Brochures, Magazines, etc.
? Front-End Design:
? Website Design, Mobile Application Design, Prototyping, etc.
? Front-End Web Development:
? HTML, CSS, Sass, JavaScript, jQuery, etc.

? Back-End Web Development:
? PHP, MySQL, CodeIgniter, etc.
? Writing and editing content
? Designing webpage layout
? Determining technical requirements
? Updating websites
? Creating back up files
? Solving code problems
Specific Job Duties
? Plans site design by clarifying goals; designing functionality.
? Develops site navigation by categorizing content; funneling traffic through content.
? Develops site content and graphics by coordinating with copywriters and graphic artists; designing images, icons, banners, audio enhancements, etc.
? Prepares site by installing and configuring server software; installing programming language using authoring and formatting tools; ensuring cross-platform compatibility; establishing links.
? Establishes locatability by registering with search engines.
? Upgrades site by updating content and graphics; monitoring performance and results; identifying and evaluating improvement options; introducing new technology; maintaining links.
? Protects site by designing and installing security precautions.
? Maintains site appearance by developing and enforcing content and display standards; editing submissions.
? Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
? Provides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
? Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
? Accomplishes information systems and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

The incumbent must be in a bachelor's degree; or an associate's degree program. He/she must have education in computer technology and website design to be suitable for this position. Other requirements could be an Associate of Applied Science in Web Graphic Design i.e. so that the student has a foundation in the design and technical aspects of creating a website. The students must have web design skills and build professional portfolios that highlight their skills and abilities. Common topics include:

? Animation
? Multimedia design

The student will develop artistic and creative abilities in addition to technical skills. Degree specialization in Bachelor of Science in Web Design and Interactive Media will be an asset as this specialization will cover:
