Description
Artist for a Day is looking for NSCAD Students to be paid volunteers!
On May 11, 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
What you get: $150, lunch, snacks and a Paul Hammond designed tee
Responsibilities
What you will do:
Project 1: Largescale Embroidery
Using dowels and yarn visitors will ‘embroider’ a pattern through the railings on the
main floor of NSCAD’s Port Campus. Goal to show people that any craft project can
be upscaled.
Project 2: Cardboard City
Great for younger visitors. Using precut cardboard, colouring/painting and drawing
tools visitors will create their own city. Goal is to show people you can make art out
of anything!
